Cord = 128 cubic feet commonly stored in 3 rows of 16" firewood stacked 4 feet high by 8 feet long. AKA 4 ft X 4 ft X 8 ft = 128 cu ft.  A "Face Cord" is 1/3 of a Cord AKA as a "Rick" (I don't know who Rick was, lol)

Hardwood firewood burns longer and hotter than softwood firewood, but softwood firewood ignites more easily. Harwood weighs more, takes longer to dry, and is most often used for inside the home.

With increasing fuel prices we will calculate delivery costs when we have an address to estimate with. Any prices and rates shown online are for Bolton Landing and change with time of year.

1 Cord of Oak Hardwood can weigh ~4,500-lbs and a cord of Campfire-wood will start on average  ~3,500-lbs.  We have a F350 Dump Truck to make deliveries in.  If you are using a trailer, car, or boat to move firewood be very careful as to what you can haul.

The price of our firewood depends on the type of wood and the quantity ordered. Please contact us for pricing information. Firewood is a "solid fuel" and does goes up/down with desiel & propane markets. March-June is one of the best times to order hardwood for the following winter heating season.
